Ricky Weiss made a dramatic last lap pass to win Friday’s Spring Nationals race. Brandon Overton led the first 39 laps of the 40-lap race and appeared to be on his way to the win. Weiss held off challenges by Shanon Buckingham for second before pulling away and closing in on Overton. Coming to the checkers, Overton’s car slowed coming off turn 4 and Weiss barely squeaked by and edge Overton at the line for the win. Riley Hickman, Andy Ogle, and Scott Brown were the other winners on Friday.
