Big money on the line for UCRA crates and sportsman

Some big money will be on the line this Friday, July 7 at Crossville Speedway. The rescheduled UCRA race will be the headline event. That race will pay $2,500 to the winner.

Some of the area’s top crate late model drivers are expected for the series only visit to Crossville Speedway this season. Crossville’s Jesse Lowe, defending series champ Rusty Ballenger, current series points leader Jason Manley, Jimmy Elliott, Anthony White, Kyle Courtney, and many others are just some of the names to expect.

The sportsman late models will be racing for $1,000 to win. In addition to the increased purse, there will be bonus money up for grabs. Crossville Speedway has teamed with Smoky Mountain Speedway to offer bonuses for drivers that compete in races at both tracks this weekend. The driver with the highest average finish on both nights will receive a $275 bonus. The driver with the second highest average finish will receive $150 and the driver with the third highest average finish will receive $75. Drivers must compete in both races at both tracks to be eligible for the bonus money. A driver that can win both races can collect $2,475 with the added bonus money.

All other divisions will be in action on Friday night.

Pit gates and tier parking open at 3:00 and grandstand gates open at 4:00 with the driver’s meeting set for 6:45 (all times are CDT).

General admission tickets are $15 for adults, kids 14 and under are free. Tier parking is $20 per person, kids 14 and under are free. Pit passes are $35 for adults.
